Open Doors is a non-denominational mission supporting persecuted Christians around the world. They work with local partners to distribute Bibles and Christian literature, give discipleship training and provide practical support, such as emergency relief aid.
Open Doors' stated aims are to raise awareness of global persecution, mobilising prayer, support and action among Christians from around the world. It is based in Ermelo, the Netherlands. Open Doors is also a member of the Forum of Bible Agencies International.
Every day, millions of Christians risk their lives to follow Jesus. In more than 70 countries, Open Doors supports them by :
-
supplying Bibles,
-
providing emergency relief
-
helping persecuted believers stand strong for the long-term.
In the UK and Ireland, Open Doors helps the church to pray, give and speak out for those who share our faith but not our freedom. They are well known for their annual World Watch List.
