Children on Sundays

Children are really welcome at LEBC. Children are a central part of what we do and how we seek to discover more about Jesus together.

Each Sunday morning we all meet together as a church family. Through a mix of songs, readings, prayers and activities we learn together. This time is designed to be accessible for all. But if they do get wiggly there are book bags, colouring and puzzles available.

After a little while children can move into separate children’s groups.

Our crèche meets in the classroom area. This is ideal for pre-schoolers. Through play, stories, crafts and prayer the children are introduced to the bible and the Christian faith.

Sunday Club:

Our Sunday Club meets in the hall and is ideal for anyone at primary school. Sessions normally include a story, discussion, crafts, games and songs. There is a safe area in the group for any children who are struggling to engage with the main activities or need additional support.

Our DNA group is aimed at secondary aged young people and meets on alternate Sundays. This is a great opportunity to discuss various topics and to share as friends. We often start with hot chocolate and cookies. You’ll find us in the lounge.

Safe to Grow:

All of our leaders are DBS checked and are offered training and support in working with children with additional needs. If you’re new to LEBC do come out with your children and you’ll be introduced to our leaders. If you need any further information do get into touch or speak to us on a Sunday morning.
